To our clients and partners

Starting March 21, all “non-essential” businesses in Illinois are ordered to close per the governor of the state. Many of you are already experiencing this and more of you will in the coming days.

During this time PSG will continue to operate to the best of our ability but please understand that there will be a delay in your normal service, as well as any additional requests you have during this time. Please continue to submit your customer data, as we have plans in place for a modified production schedule during this time.

As these are incredibly difficult times, it’s important for you to know that our focus will continue to remain on helping our shops and business partners get through this successfully. If you have any questions or need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re still here for you and will do our best to accommodate your needs as quickly as possible.

Thanks for your understanding and patience. We wish you, your team and your families much safety and good health.

With gratitude,
Nick Schoolcraft

Starting March 21, all “non-essential” businesses in Illinois are ordered to close through April 7th per the governor of the state. Many of you are already experiencing this and more of you will in the coming days.

There is a lot happening right now with the COVID-19 outbreak and we know the uncertainty of the situation can feel overwhelming.

The impact in your area and on your business may be different than what others are experiencing. Many businesses have been required to close for the foreseeable future. The situation is fluid and changing rapidly. Like you, PSG is committed to the health & safety of our staff so changes have been made where necessary to accommodate the current conditions. During this time we will continue to operate to the best of our ability but please understand that there will be a delay in your normal service, as well as any additional requests you have. Please continue to submit your customer data, as we have plans in place for a modified production schedule during this time.

We want to let you know what PSG is doing to help you manage communications with your market.

  • Effective immediately all customer follow up letters will include a “stay safe & healthy” message. Messages will vary based on each letter.

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, we want to share what we’ve been hearing. After speaking with many of our clients we’ve learned for some, business is up. As many people are now working from home, they’re realizing they don’t need their vehicle and therefore, scheduling repairs.

Here are some things you can do now to help keep your customers up-to-date:

Website Notifications
With many businesses currently closed, it is vital you have updated information on your website as well as ALL listing services to ensure your customers know you’re open for business.
Consider the following:

  • Add a banner to the home page of your website indicating you ARE open
  • Include your current hours of operation and update as necessary
  • Ensure all listing platforms remain updated – not just Google and Facebook
  • Add a page to your site referencing the crisis and outline how your business is addressing the situation including the following:
    • What precautions you’re taking to keep customer facing areas clean
    • Your plan to thoroughly disinfect repaired vehicles
    • Explain any digital, remote or other non “in-person” options you offer

If you need assistance updating your website or listing, or more information on what you can do to keep your market up to date on your business, give us a call.

Send An Email To Your Customers

To many people’s surprise, and shop owner’s relief, collision repair has been classified as an “essential” business and therefore not impacted by the required business shut down that many cities are dictating. Several shops have contacted us, looking for guidance on how to reach customers and potentially stimulate sales to a captive audience of at home customers.

Given that this is a very turbulent situation, it requires agility and speed to reach your market. Deploying an email campaign is a good option.

Your message should be thorough but concise. It needs to address your customer’s questions and concerns about how your business is handling the crisis and why they can feel safe in still having their vehicle repaired during the pandemic.

We’re in this together.
